BALANCE SHAKE UP! We're looking to make some changes in the next couple of patches to adjust some of the outliers in the combat space that we've both seen in our observations and heard from your feedback across all of the various (and plentiful) channels we watch. Some of these changes will be likely coming in the next patch, the next set will likely be arriving a week after. Here's some of the areas we're focusing on adjusting: - Bubble shields being too easy to get, too powerful to use. - The Knife scaling too easily to god like power levels. - Thermal scopes being too present and dominant - Snipers being too strong in all scenarios. - Giving Vandal and Recon some more oomph to match their counterparts. ALSO we're adding some stuff that can help add texture to the outcomes of fights: - SECRET: A new item to give solos a more common option when downed. - SECRET: A new item to give a more merciful option between crews. There'll be a lot more goodies in the coming patches and more details as the patch notes go live. Thank you all again for keeping the feedback flowing. We've still got a big list of things we're looking into that extends beyond this that will take us more time to figure out and we'll update you as we continue to build on our evolving plans.

@MarathonDevTeam if I may make a suggestion. Can we PLEASE have one of the factions (Mida probably) sell signal jammers? Dire Marsh is pretty bad to play when u have teams getting on the highest ground possible and doing 360s until they see a highlighted body to shoot.

@MarathonTheGame just had an amazing game where I had to wait it out to rez a guy and me and him made it to the other side of the map (station to south relay all the way to north relay) to exfil with no heals and almost dying to 3 teams and the UESC 😭😭

‼️CRYO ARCHIVE GUIDE: Security Clearance & Exfil explained Security Clearance determines what you see and how you play: 🔹 Lvl 1 → shows bosses 🔹 Lvl 2 → shows hack terminals (increase clearance) 🔹 Lvl 3 → shows batteries & elevators 🔹 Lvl 4 → reveals exfil terminals 📡 Scanners are key → higher clearance = more map intel 🚨 Exfil system (this is where it gets intense) 1️⃣ Build clearance (kill commanders / activate terminals) 2️⃣ Use scanners to locate key systems 3️⃣ Activate an exfil terminal Then: ⏳ You get ~3:30 📍 A RANDOM extract appears on the map Usually far away 💡 What this means 👉 You don’t just leave when you want 👉 You need positioning BEFORE exfil 👉 Information + routing = survival This plays more like a raid than a standard extraction mode 👀 #Marathon | #MarathonGame

@marathonreprt I feel like once more ship maps are out, they’ll have them rotate on weekends like pinnacle raids. will be super cool. although, i want more planetside maps too!

btw if you didn't know how big the Marathon is... That small green square is JUST cryo archive. I’m sure we will be exploring other decks of the ship in future seasons.
