I had the strangest/most emotional morning. Woke up in tears and it took me a minute to figure out why. I had this really vivid dream (or whatever it felt like) my grandad was right there visiting me, clear as day, chatting away like old times. He was smiling, looked healthy, and the first thing he said was how well York City are playing this season going on about the wins stacking up and how they're right up there challenging at the top of the National League with hardly any losses. He was proper buzzing about it, saying 'they're doing us proud lad'. It's like he's been there with me at the games. Then I woke up crying my eyes out. It felt so real, like he just popped in to give me an update on the Minstermen haha. Proper hit me hard but in a weirdly nice way too 🕊️❤️

2025 hasn’t been my best year. Losing my grandad has left a huge hole in my heart and in our family. He was such a special man, and I miss him every single day. 💔 Grateful for the love and support from family and friends that’s helped carry through the tough moments. Hoping 2026 brings more light, healing, and happier days ahead. Sending love to everyone who’s had a hard year too! Here’s to better times coming. 🕊️✨
