Usually it’s wise to say nothing and keep your council but after many comments yesterday I feel I need to put the record straight on a few things and explain why I put out a neutral tweet on hearing the news about Stuart Maynard’s sacking. #ycfc

It feels crazy that the 2 teams who gave the footballing world possibly the best title race of all time, certainly in England, are starting the new season with new managers. #RAFC #YCFC

Phone went nuts as we landed at Leeds. The high of España 26 dulled by the unfathomable decision to part with one of our greatest ever managers. If the new manager fails to produce instant results then what? 'Vision & direction' doesn't cut it. Truth not buzzwords please. #ycfc

York City in Europe ✅️ Four special days on Costa Blanca watching The Minstermen go unbeaten in two enjoyable fixtures. A pleasure to be amongst a fine group of fans, all travelling with less than a week's notice. An experience to never forget. What a club we have. #YCFC

A solid workout in testing conditions played in front of a magnificent scenic backdrop. Lovely finish from Super Joe to equalise late on. A healthy following of partisan York heads helped to make it an evening to remember. #ycfc
