That is fitting. I mean I have grown up in America. But seeing things as they are now, it is easy to understand how ancient pagan Rome and America are not much different. So many are simply desiring to see a continued reality of depravity and delusion, with false comfort, instead of Jesus returning to make all things new. We cry Maranatha because we understand that a better reality is coming 🙏

It is wild seeing well known Christian voices defending blasphemy, pedophilia, narcissism, constant lying, defense of evil being done by government, all in the name of their politics. All in the name of "only democrats and liberals do evil things". Worse, thinking that God 'winks' at it. That America is somehow so 'great', that it is exempt from ever facing any kind of judgement.

@RobinRoese @oliverburdick If one falsely identifies someone they think is the Antichrist and entrenches themselves in that false belief, that is a form of self-deception. The only thing worse than being deceived by others is when one deceives themselves. Reevaluate your discernment. It’s untrustworthy.

Satan wants you to waste your life waiting around for the world to end, obsessing over end-times prophecy, and trying to predict the timeline. God wants you to go live and serve Christ. Only he knows when everything is going to happen, and it's entirely out of our control.

@RobinRoese @oliverburdick No, Scripture does not name the Antichrist. Martin Luther believed his conclusion was supported by Scripture, yet it was still an interpretation. Without a named individual in the text, any attempt to pinpoint the Antichrist before he is revealed remains speculation.

Follow my friend @DrShayPhD and maybe you can come to understand who/what antichrist is. I'm sure she has posted a thread that lays it all out. If not I can walk u through it.

@justin_for11873 @oliverburdick Did you not read my entire post? I said that the Bible backs it up. I knew it from scripture BEFORE I found out that Martin Luther said it. Study Daniel and Revelation, and maybe you will see it too. God's word is quite clear on the matter. But you have to study prayerfully.

Until the restrainer is removed, the antichrist will not be revealed (2 Thess 2:7-8). “Cursed is the one who trusts in man” — Jeremiah 17:5

Pope Leo, the Heritage Foundation and the Christian Nationalists have been pushing for it too. At this point everyone will choose Sunday because they think it will save them and it is what God wants. This is why EGW, and most recently Dr. Conrad Vine, said the third angels message is the message that needs to be preached now before the Sunday Law.

The papal power is the Antichrist and the Antichrist and the first beast and the Little Horn are the same. If you disagree, I challenge you to prove it isn't, with Scripture. As time winds to a halt, it will be more and more active. His deadly wound has healed and he has stepped out of the shadows. He will call for peace, over and over again, even to the extent of brokering peace deals with nations and groups. He will portray himself as the moral authority. Sleep, deny, argue all you want, however, you cannot prove that the Antichrist is not the papacy, based on Scripture. Emotions aren't Scripture and neither are tantrums.

@SonofManwithus There are 1.4 billion Catholics in the world. We are under no threat. Our faith is strong. We came through centuries of persecution and here we are today, as strong as ever. We will not deviate from Christ's teaching.

As a Christian yes! We are to lead everyone we can to salvation through Jesus christ. Including Muslims. But what pope Leo is doing doesn't sound like he's evangelizing to Muslims, rather forming a coexistence or alliance. You can say blessed are the peace makers and that's true. We all want peace. But this seems very fishy when he doesn't acknowledge the persecution of Christians at the hands of Muslims. When Muslims are heading into the west causing chaos and wanting to impose Sharia law. Does the pope want catholics and Christians under Islamic law or is he trying to form a one world religion?

The papal church will never relinquish her claim to infallibility. All that she has done in her persecution of those who reject her dogmas she holds to be right; and would she not repeat the same acts, should the opportunity be presented?

Let the restraints now imposed by secular governments be removed and Rome be reinstated in her former power, and there would speedily be a revival of her tyranny and persecution.

@ThePChris Keep searching scripture for sure, but I can tell you that you won't find any verses that sanction that idolatry.

I'm still yet to find the place in the bible that approves of this Roman Catholic practice.

My church is flat. No energy, not much life. They aren't doing anything wrong, there's just no life in the leadership. Been there a year plus and not one mention of the prophetic biblical times we are in, not one. In fact I was poked fun of, for bringing up some eschatological points on Da, 9. My soul despairs, in trying to find a full gospel church.
