Thanks to @HFLabour, 4 in 10 households in Hammersmith & Fulham qualify for a discount under our local Council Tax Support Scheme.
This includes care leavers & foster carers, who pay nothing at all, and a 25% tax cut for military veterans.

Simon is right. Green Party manifesto promised borrowing on a staggering scale. It was wholly unrealistic and would have been catastrophic if any attempt made to implement it. They have doubled down since. They must now become more realistic.

Reform UK had to dramatically revisit their 2024 manifesto - which would have undoubtedly triggered an acute Sterling and Gilt crisis. The 2024 manifesto offered up by the Green Party would, with little doubt, receive an even worse market reaction - with a severe negative impact on the cost of living. Any sustained polling around this level by the Greens will make a manifesto revisit inevitable.

The reason there’s so many PVs is we make it hard to vote, the fact that we do it on one working day is mad. We should introduce early voting so ordinary working people aren’t restricted to a few hours before and after work.

This is completely the wrong decision.
Allowing athletes from Russia and Belarus to compete under their own flags while the brutal invasion of Ukraine continues sends a terrible message.
The International Paralympic Committee should reconsider this decision urgently.
