So excited to finally share that my first published book will be coming in Fall of 2027!! The community here has really shown up for White Trash Witchcraft across the years and I'm so incredibly to all of you! 💛

@moniza_hossain That's exactly what I was thinking/ worrying about...

I’m happy the book has been pulled too, but also worried some people are starting to assume writing is ai just cus it uses perfectly normal stylistic devices (like listing, the use of contrasts, using words strangely to convey voice, em dash etc). It’s making me paranoid

@vickyweberbooks Yes! I max out my suggestion submissions at my library every month. As long as the title is in their distro chain, they always buy it!

@masterpgrated @Linnaeus_Writer The lack of clear communication is worrying. For comparison, my agent shares an updated excel grid every month that details all the editors subbed to, when, responses, nudges, etc. Might not be every agent's style, but it sounds like yours has told you little to nothing.

@Linnaeus_Writer @RoweWriter Agreed! It felt like I asked an update for a submission that has only been out for a few months and she just dismissed me and told me to self publish .. nothing else :/

I asked my agent what the next steps were and she told me to just self publish??? Uhh what? Is this normal?
