HMAS Warramunga has arrived home after completing her recent Regional Presence Deployment to the Indian Ocean. Departing Australia in late January, Warramunga sailed approximately 12,000 nautical miles and spent more than 1,200 hours underway. Transfer complete ✅🚁 During her 2026 Regional Presence Deployment, HMAS Toowoomba's MH-60R Seahawk conducted a PAX transfer from the forecastle of the ship in 📍 Philippines Sea. Soldiers employed the: 💥 Javelin FGM‑148 anti‑tank guided missile 💥 12.7mm M2 Browning machine gun 💥 MAG 58 machine gun The activity refined weapons proficiency and strengthened interoperability between the battalions. #YourADF #AusArmy

ICYMI - HMAS Toowoomba completed her deployment under Operation Argos earlier this month. Since 2018, #YourADF under Operation Argos has enforced United Nations Security Council sanctions on North Korea by deterring and disrupting illegal maritime activity.

FIRST TIME IN HISTORY | For the first time in history, a Philippine Navy ship has sailed into Sydney Harbour. As part of the multinational, Australian-led Exercise Kakadu, BRP Diego Silang entered Sydney Heads alongside 31 ships from partner nations.
