1 month ago I left my Golf Professional position to go full time into our golf brand. Katy and I have always wanted to run an operation together, we just figured it was going to be at a golf course. Things changed over the years, and 35x70 Golf Co (Thirty Five Seventy Golf Company) has become our golf shop. It’s wild how much easier it is to plan, talk to accounts, suppliers, and just think ahead when you are in it everyday. The last month has been pretty damn fun, allowed for us to see the growth we want heading into fall, and allowed for a full warehouse move. Taking a bet on yourself isn’t the hard part, making sure you keep the momentum is. Our biggest jump to make sure we can complete with the big boys and get into golf shops is coming. Now, we keep rolling! The Journey is the Reward. ⛳️

@STiICT @shockermandan No doubt there is a sales aspect and they may try to sell you an exotic shaft. Depends on the person, but also hard to find a place where you can dial in a shaft better, especially with a higher swing speed.

I need a new set of golf clubs. I'm your average 40 year old that can hit a 280yd drive if all the stars align, but more often that not skull my irons shooting about 100-105. Any suggestions? Older models I can buy used are preferred.

@shockermandan @BullishBearNFT Id avoid club champion at all costs unless you want to overpay so you can brag to your friends about how much it cost you. There are much more reasonable and proper fitters out there.

@shockermandan @BullishBearNFT Just find something youre comfortable with and that feels good to you and enjoy the game. Fancy shafts and clubs arent going to make a difference at your level of skill. Go to a store that sells used clubs and has a demo area and will let you test different setups on your own.
