@kierangill_DM Look at the minutes for academy players had this season. George and Acheampong played most of the games but hardly played at all this. The level of the CL was so low that it didn't matter how well the academy players did in it. They were used just to give the 1st team a rest

A kick in the teeth for Cobham also that Chelsea end this season without even qualifying for one of Europe’s lesser competitions. Might have at least afforded chances for their academy’s talents. Such opportunities will be a premium now

@MiguelDelaney No clubs from the top 5 leagues should be in the Conference League. It should be a chance for the rest of Europe to finally win a European cup again. It's ridiculous that it's easier for an English club to win a European Cup than it is to win the League Cup.
