Here is a chapter of my draft for my upcoming book. Which I have already written close to 90K words as of today. I still have not decided what I will title this book. But I will worry about that when it’s finally finished. The book is about the development of Judaism into Christianity through the Hellenistic & Roman periods. The goal of the book is to provide a clear picture of the evolution of Roman Religion for the first 400 years of the common era, and how Imperial Roman religion went from the Capitoline Triad of Jupiter, Juno & Romulus to the Christian Trinity. How could it possibly be that the Roman aristocracy under Caesar could ever find itself adopting a plebeian foreign religion that came from Judea, as their central state cult. How Christianity adapted itself to the cultural milieu of the Post-Augustan Roman world of antiquity. And how the church was able to constantly update itself to keep up with the times and trends of Roman culture. The solar theology of the 3rd century is a prime example. As shown in this chapter. And yes, I use EM Dashes — no, that doesn’t mean it’s AI — People use EM dashes — Get over it — It makes the text flow better than using parentheses or commas all the time. When you automatically think EM dashes is AI — you tell on yourself for not making it that far in school.
