@ermate Well if you weld yourself so firmly to a medical model of mental ill health then you completely eradicate any concept of social or environmental factors as having a role. How many times do you hear that a person does not have a treatable mental illness. Treatable with what?

Yorkshire leading the way on food 💡 Today, a new film and report from the second ‘What Works Here Inquiry’ in 📍York and North Yorkshire is out, coordinated by @local_food and @FixOurFoodteam. Important perspective here from @Sectioned_ on the @HouseofCommons select committee report from someone with real experience of community care. It often simply doesn't exist and not because of funding problems, but because care is just cut off.

Not actually the highlight of my week… But It seems that 2 Consultant Psychiatrists (1 in the private sector & 1 in the NHS) have complained about me this week✔️ My crime it seems, is having the temerity to disagree with them & not make applications… #AMHPlife >
