What are the Lebanese takes, in their diversity of viewpoints, on the Israel-Lebanon-US meeting?
I’ve read what might be called the pro-Israel views. And a few of the more critical views that are negative. But haven’t seen many Lebanese views?

שירות צבאי אינו "הזדמנות". הוא חובה. מי שקובע מי יעשה מה זה לא אתה אלא הצבא. האמירה כאילו יש איזו חובה על הצבא לקיים "שוויון הזדמנויות" בשיבוצים היא מגוחכת ואווילית. לצבא יש מגוון שיקולים בשיבוץ, מהם נכונים ומהם מטופשים להחריד, אבל שוויון הזדמנויות לא יכול להיות אחד מהם

The IDF says it killed a top commander in a Hezbollah-allied militia in Lebanon, along with eight other operatives, in a strike in Sidon yesterday.
The strike in Sidon killed Maher Qassem Hamdan, who the IDF says was the commander of the Lebanese Resistance Companies in the Shebaa area, close to Israel's border.
The militia, also known as the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, is funded, trained, armed, and was founded by Hezbollah.
The military says Hamdan was responsible for "recruiting terrorists, supplying weapons, and funding the Lebanese Companies" in Shebaa.
According to the IDF, Hamdan and seven other members of the militia fled from Shebaa to Sidon, where they were targeted and killed.

Because not only is it buckwheat (Modern Hebrew כוסמת) and not spelt (spelt the same way in Biblical Hebrew), it is also not halachic matza because unlike spelt buckwheat is not grain

- Iran Number One: Ceasefire in effect, 10 point plan basis of discussion
- Iran Number Two: Iran continues to fire missiles and drones across the region even after ceasefire
- Iran Number Three: If war doesn't stop in Lebanon, Iran will resume its war
- Iran Number Four: Hormuz will be open through Iranian supervision
- Iran Number Five: No ships navigating through Hormuz yet

He says, "As Pakistan is a faithful facilitator, I think that that the understandings coming from the highest office in Pakistan need to be accorded primacy." Note: it is his opinion ("I think"). This response contrasts Pakistani PM to Israeli PM but now we also have VP Vance confirming Israeli understanding. So the question is really, Is Pakistan truly a faithful facilitator like this ambassador thinks? Or did Pakistan just "mediate" by having each side agree to what they each want with no connection between what Iran agreed to and what the USA agreed to? This goes beyond Lebanon because Iran also claims that the no enrichment claim, a consistent red line of Trump, is now a violation of what they agreed to

The Ambassador of Pakistan says the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran includes Israel and Lebanon.
I can't think of anything that's more demeaning to the Lebanese and their sovereignty than other nations debating their fate over their heads.
