From next April the 45% top rate of tax (applies to those earning £150,000) will be scrapped. So the top rate will be the 40% higher rate threshold. This means mega earners, pay the same rate as those on £50,000. #MiniBudget

The government is giving 225,000 NHS staff in the Midlands a pay cut - £174 for a nurse and £312 for a health visitor. It comes from the same government that gave Dominic Cummings a £45,000 pay rise last year. The ultimate insult.
