@SnazzyLabs I'm sure that it was tested 1000s of times. But it just feels a bit weird with current wireless communication and battery charging technology. They couldn't have come up with a neater solution.

I like how everybody assumes Nintendo doesn’t do rigorous testing. These same concerns were made about the plastic rail on the Joy-con and it was a non-issue.
