My Demo is almost a year old. It's crazy how I've outgrown this now. I. LOVE. making sound and music for games. When I started building my own game, it forced me to learn even more. It forced me to get real uncomfortable in my lack of skill in a new area. I scoured tutorials and cussed a lot. Had to do a few things with zero instructions in Unreal Not only can I mix and implement my audio into a game engine by myself, but now I can build behavioral systems in a game engine for my sounds and music, for dialogue... I honestly resigned my ambitions of getting as far without institutional knowledge. And now, I'm the one who needs a new demo. Don't give up

I was running some numbers for @ScaryGoodProd VO Demos and found a few fun stats: 85% of all of our demos were re-dos after bad experiences with other demo producers We are recommended more by Casting Directors & Agents than anyone else now Last year we had clients in 5 countries, with ~40% of our demos being for fellow POC creators. And I think that's pretty cool. 😎

Working on StarCrest today 🐸 I had a lot of reasons to step away; health, professional obligation, technical obstacles, creative balance, but I miss Dorian Today I’m working on how I’m associating books into the game. I could not find any tutorials but I realized they’re basically a graphic user interface, similar to dialogue in a visual novel I’m excited to update and it feels good to be back
