They were under so much heavy fire in Vietnam the rescue mission was called off. But Cobra helicopter pilot Taylor did not give up & return to safety. Out of rockets & ammunition he managed to load the four men covered in mud onto the outside of the small combat copter flew them to nearby safety as he ran out of gas!
