Calling someone on their shit when it is actively harming you is not only self love, it’s loving them enough to not want them to continue being the monster they’ve turned into.

He was tall, dark, and handsome. He was tough on the outside but a big softie with her. He was logical, thoughtful, funny, and they clicked immediately. He had long hair and a man bun. He towered over her and made her feel safe until the moment she looked up and saw a monster.

She wouldn’t be gaslit anymore. Her loss was real and it mattered.

It was the most obvious, fucked up trailer park identity and destiny swapping she’d ever seen. She was hidden. Punished. Isolated. Silenced. He put her busted doppelganger rat in the exact same seat she already had and he already convinced her for calendar year was her future. The seat she chose over having a family, he gave to the dumbest human she’s ever seen. While abusing her. His belief system included brutally punishing women for his mistakes, and believing entire women can be replaced and replicated like dolls. Like objects.

Willing to keep innocent human beings in pain for years for a staged relationship with an abuser. Claims to be qualified to care for others.

She chose him over having a family and was his biggest supporter and defender. She believed in him more than anyone. But he never even saw her. She was just another piece in his game of lies. When it was convenient for him he kicked her off the board & acted like a stranger. He lied about her, disposed of her, and pretended she and his child never existed. He urgently found a demographically accurate rat who could pass as her and picked up the relationship he had with her, with a mimic rat, right where it left off. He moved at ridiculously fast speeds not because he was in love. Because he had to make it look like they’d been together for a fucking year. While he had her targeted and isolated and punished and caged.

She still held back everything that vindicated her out of love, respect, and grace for four years in the face of being abused, dehumanized, punished, slandered, and targeted. He continued hurting her and refusing to treat her with basic human decency and respect.

They’d been talking for a few months before that, and he was with her for a year after that. Those were the best few chapters of the story. The ones she’d been holding back. The ones she was reflecting upon when she got all dreamy again.

When she told him she was pregnant he didn’t think about or ask what she wanted. He firmly stated what he didn’t want and there wasn’t any space for her. He never asked. She delayed it because she wasn’t sure and it frustrated him because he couldn’t check it off the list yet.

He rushed her when she wasn’t sure, and now she mourned the loss alone.

He didn’t want another child and rushed her to make a decision. He referred to it as an item on a checklist. She thought she was being selfless and didn’t want that to be the only reason he stayed. And he did. They knew this too but convinced him it was her decision so he would leave her. They coached him to call her a “grown ass woman” and wash his hands of the situation. They made him think their bond wasn’t his too. That he shouldn’t care about her, what happens to her, what she thought of him. They rewarded him for proving it to them over and over when it wasn’t true. They spun it to seem as if she used that to keep him there when she abided by his wishes even though it broke her heart because she didn’t want to force him to stay.

She told him being abandoned by him on top of giving up his child for him would be too much for her to handle - before she agreed to honor his wishes. He swore he’d always be her friend and in her life. He stayed in touch with all of his exes. Then he dehumanized her, abandoned her, and allowed other people to attack her over his lies while she was by herself trying to survive for four years. He swept her under a rug and replaced her instantly with a demographically accurate downgrade named Wendy. He still refused to acknowledge her humanity, her loss, or her existence to this day. While playing victim to her with lies.

She knew it was impossible to believe. It was happening to her and she still couldn’t believe it. Every fucking word she’s said is true.

He viewed his own child as meaningless collateral damage in a game, not even worthy of acknowledgement or honoring. Neither was her loss of them.

Her safety, privacy, security, mental health, physical health, and his devastating impact on her life and future was always just a game to him. It was collateral damage in saving his own at the risk of hers.

She’d just lost her only child and was dealing with the mental and hormonal impacts of having a baby growing inside you and instantly not. He gaslit her, made her feel crazy, and clearly only cared about keeping their relationship and her pregnancy a secret. It was a game to him.
