All you need to do is look at the economic picture before, employment levels, interest rates, investment etc and the situation post Brexit. It doesn’t make for happy reading.

They won't rejoin cos Nigel Farage will soon become PM, either by the end of the year after the May local elections or next year.. They will continue to follow EU rules so their industries can sell into the single market without full benefits of joining the single market
