Neymar has more numbers than Rooney but being a top player is a different conversation.
Neymar is a top player for sure but not as top as Rooney.
Rooney was the main man at Man United and the best player of the Premier League for over a decade but Neymar hadn't been the best player at all the clubs he has played in Europe... Barcelona, it was Messi and PSG, it was Mbappe.
Don't get me wrong, Neymar is a top player but not as top as Rooney.
