Pauline Hanson says Australians should have more babies, yet attacks the very policies that help families afford to raise them.
She has criticised paid parental leave, attacked childcare subsidies and aligned herself with anti-abortion campaigns.
The reality is that most women seeking abortions do so in the early weeks of pregnancy. The idea that women are routinely having abortions at 39 weeks is simply not supported by the evidence. Late-term abortions are extremely rare and almost always involve catastrophic foetal abnormalities or serious risks to the mother’s health.
You can’t claim to support Australian families while making childcare more expensive, reducing support for new parents and restricting women’s healthcare choices.
If you want higher birth rates, make it easier to raise children, not harder.
@SistaRuthDOPD There are idiots out there who are Orange supporters. I work with a woman whose son is LBGTIQ. She barely makes ends meet and has an elderly mother to look after. She thinks Hanson will be a good PM and has some good policies. I tried to explain what her life would be like …
Don't be fooled by the "polls" or the media or all the alleged supporters of Hanson that you see online. A couple of billionaires have put a LOT of money into PR and fake social media accounts to astroturf and gaslight you into believing Hanson is what Australians want. #auspol
Well there you have it: Chinese, Indian and other Asian races will not be welcome in Australia under a One Nation Liberal National Coalition Government
@Sevac10@Darkstalight@DrCraigEmerson Japanese culture also includes Ainu and Ryukyuan peoples.
Aboriginal Australia varies throughout the continent and people from different regions have different languages, etc.
Nigeria has 250+ ethnic groups and 500+ languages.
@Darkstalight@DrCraigEmerson Hanson called for a monocultural Australia. This most likely means an Anglo culture and, as Craig suggests, not Chinese, Indian ...
James Massola asks Pauline Hanson if Australia is in danger of being swamped by Muslims.
Pauline Hanson says yes.
Huge round of applause from the Canberra press gallery.
Stupid, time-wasting racist question. Australia’s media is totally F’ed.

If multiculturalism is "abolished" by One Nation can I still eat lasagne? Can I eat sushi? Can I have a kebab?
What the hell does Pauline Hanson actually mean? How is monoculturalism compatible with liberal democracy & the freedom to eat, wear, read, watch & listen to anything?
Pauline Hanson has confirmed a One Nation govt will abolish SBS and make the ABC subscription only. That means the end of watching the #Socceroos at any tournament. Meanwhile Lionel Messi was scoring his first hat-trick at the #WorldCup
One Nation are spoilsports. #auspol
@Sevac10 You're paying about 25c a week to fund SBS. Plus the cost of the Socceroos who probably pay for themselves in terms of positive advertising for Australia.
@Sevac10@SaintJackington Again, what do you want to spend taxpayer dollars on? World Cup rights aren't even that expensive and it's better to use taxpayer dollars to keep it free to air than let some streaming service get the rights.
@zylyk_svenoxia@SaintJackington The world cup is one of if not the biggest sporting event in the world. Theres absolutely no justification for tax payers to fund it. What a ridiculous waste of money that "helps" no one.
