@colonelhogans Incorrect. It’s likely to be 1.5m ish The parties get $6 per vote for the first 10% and then 5.50 for each additional vote. On current figures that will mean SA ALP will get double the funding of ON. It’s the ALP that will get $3m+

$3.1 MILLION DOLLARS. That’s roughly how much Pauline Hanson will pocket from last nights election. Not forgetting the money up front candidates must pay One Nation and the fact that they must use James Ashbys printing business to print their election materials.

@strangerous10 @Smizzy777 $2.90 a vote she gets that’s why she is happy. Her grift is working. Bludging off the tax payer. All the people that ran for will realise they won’t be reimbursed campaign costs. She will take every cent back to QLD.

Zero seats, yet Pauline Hanson & One Nation are about to pop champagne. Deluded or just happy to be big losers? Either way, really embarrassing for One Nation supporters tonight. #savotes

Get a load of the juvenile delinquents at the ABC. We pay their salary. They make fun of the federal Senator that just beat all expectations tonight. Like Pauline or not - the ABC should not be ridiculing her. Many taxpaying voters voted for her party today.

I won’t be driving an EV. I would rather pay top dollar for diesel. At least I know I don’t need a failing power grid to be able to travel.

The major parties are in complete panic. They're worried South Australians have finally seen through their politics and will vote for a party who has Australia's best interests at heart: One Nation. We've got the team. We've got the candidates. We've got the policies. Most importantly we've got the guts to get government back on track. All we need is your vote to make it happen. Put liberal and labor where they've put you for the last 20 years, last. Avoid the handouts on election day and get your how to vote card texted to your phone: vote.onenation.org.au

According to Pauline Hanson, asking for policy costings is a “stupid question” - because One Nation has never been serious enough about policy to survive real scrutiny. One Nation doesn’t build policy - it sells slogans.

What's everyone paying for petrol now? I'm paid yesterday 2.30 for unleaded for my old Toyota ute in Brisbane, $105 dollars and it was just over a quarter of a tank before I topped it up 🤔😳

There is not the volume of oil you claim. It’s also more expensive to drill and process hence why companies are not doing it. You are just spewing lies as usual. Maybe if the LNP actually built charging infrastructure when in power we could have been a leader in EVs instead of playing catch up.

I am not going to cop the ABC - or other left wing media - complaining that we have not done enough to guarantee petrol and diesel supplies. For years these organisations have run activist campaigns against my attempts (and others) to drill, baby, drill. They can't turn around now and whinge ... where are the fossil fuels! Maybe after an equal number of pro oil, pro gas and pro coal stories they can be forgiven, but I won't hold my breath!

@van00sa Wouldn’t change. We don’t control the price of oil. There is currently no shortage same number of boats are coming. It’s the panic buying . Was at a business yesterday that had 2 30000 ltre tanks installed and then filled. They don’t need that much fuel.

A bit of straight talk: If the government had a Budget surplus today (and it should), people would scream blue murder that it wasn't being used to 'provide cost of living relief', given 'how tough people are doing it'. Thing is, a surplus would be the best way for them to help.
