@HollyHoodHaleyJ I was saying this when you were barely a teenager coming to shows with your mom. "If she wants to be in the wrestling business then she's going to be a star" I was telling people. You had a charisma that was unreal even then.

@davidpenzer @SeanRossSapp @davidpenzer I think the difference is that companies are looser on outside bookings than they used to be. It's much more common for contracted talents to appear on independents and at conventions. During the Pillman show years it was pretty rare.

@SeanRossSapp Serious question, why is that even a talking point? We had to pull several matches on the Pillman shows in the 90's due to politics but everyone that wanted to pay tribute got to participate which is what was important to the talent

On Saturday morning, March 28th, 2026 at 2:06am, my sister and I watched as our mom’s spirit officially departed this earth and ascended to her residence of eternity in heaven. For nearly 11 months, my family and I have been entrenched in my mom’s battle against Stage IV Colon Cancer. Through every dietary change, supplement consumption, experimental treatments and hospitalizations, it was my mom who served as the frontline soldier against this debilitating disease while my family took arms and fought alongside her every step of the way. Losing my mom has split my heart in two and created a void that will never be replaced. However, that void will be surrounded by cherished memories of a woman who moved to the United States from her native country of Haiti at the age of 19, established a 50-year cosmetology career and served as the steadfast nucleus of a united family. It’s truly hard to put into words everything my mom has taught me but perhaps the greatest lesson she imparted upon us all was delivered over this past year. Even through the darkest of times, don’t stop fighting, stay strong and smile. I love you mom. I anxiously anticipate the day that I will see you and my father again in heaven alongside our almighty Lord. Gladys D. Kelly 10/22/45—3/28/26

.@TheDonCallis told CTV Winnipeg that his Family has “16 members.. the largest faction in pro wrestling history.” How many can you name? I’ll put the list in the comments.

Instead of shooting your shot on social media, find out how you can help with ring crew, put out chairs, clean up after the event. Promoters respond to that better than a 🤔 or 👀.

@SignGuyHPW @RhysMaddox2GK It is. His picture cost about $97 but I figured it was worth it. Currently tired sore and hungry sitting at a show to watch him work.

@CMSmilee Looking at it from a promoter's perspective, if this out of town guy comes in and not one person in your fan base know them yet then nobody's paying to see them. You've lost money on them. If they come in and fans want more then you know they have value to your show.

There are so many wrestlers out here in Chicago that want that chance to show up and show out but a lot of them work full time jobs and we in a recession shit is expensive I know I'm not a wrestler but I've been around them long enough to know how hard it is out here and traveling to promotions just for a chance is a privilege
Gamebreaker (艶温汚)@BigGameLeroy

I will say, if you’re able to drive across the country, travel and wrestle at a financial loss, and still be able to be financially ok IRL that’s a privilege. Not a flex Not even talking about the folks who have full time jobs alongside actively on the scene. Perspective is key

@CMSmilee I understand that they have to work and it costs money to travel. If they don't have it worked out in advance then they shouldn't be going after out of area bookings. Promoters get burned and then they stop all out of area bookings out of fear. I've seen it happen.

@CMSmilee As a talent, I would understand their situation. From a promoter, I understand. You have to give the shots to people that find a way. You give a guy 10 chances and they cancel last minute then you cut out chances for 10 other guys.

Nobody checking for my posts so imma say something right quick *gets on imaginary soapbox* Can we not make wrestlers feel bad who don't have funds to travel outside their state to other promotions to MAYBE get looked at. Just for the promoter to ghost them a week later because that's just how wrestling is.

@VinnyPacifico1 There are some, but the drawback is that pizza pies take several minutes to bake so the wait time per car is not ideal.
