Yup. The cost of a Bitcoin is where it is because it takes time + energy to produce- this is factored into the price. Some portion of the current price represents that cost. Bitcoin: Cost to produce/mine (X) + speculative/utility value (Y) = market price (Z) The cost of a $XRP is where it is because of these same factors- the cost to produce (X) is also factored into the price. The only difference is that in $XRP's case the (X) variable is substantially smaller (one can argue ~0) and so it's current market price (Z) is more directly correlated to the value of (Y). XRP: Cost to produce/mine (X) + speculative/utility premium (Y) = market price (Z) But the equation is the exact same for both, and it doesn't matter that one costs something to produce and one doesn't because the market still attributes value above the cost of production to both.

UN figures show that 70% of verified violent deaths in Gaza are women and children, with the highest proportion in the age group of 5 to 9 years. Is this not genocide, Sir Keir, as you defined it in 2014? Is this not genocide as the Genocide Convention defines it? And if it is not, Sir Keir, you urgently need to explain why.
