@Investmentkage I think the best grocery business of them all is Publix. The only problem is they aren't publically traded. They have 9% profit margins and no debt and have a very strong moat imao

My top 10 reasons I love Costco! 1. $COST appeals to high income earners. (High income earners are more likely to have discretionary income). 2. It virtually has no theft 3. It’s one of the only retailers that’s done great internationally. 4. It doesn’t rely on acquisitions to grow. 5. Their subscription model is King. 6. Their goal is to have 7% same store, yearly sales growth. 7. They have a slow and steady approach to build more stores. They build around 20 per year! 8. They always keep an excess amount of cash on hand. I like this because it makes them likely to survive a recession. 9. They run on 12 to 15% margins so you can get great deals 10. All their financial reports are easy to read and they don’t try to trick you. There are many more reasons, but these are my favorite! Disclaimer: I am not telling you to go by the company. I’m just telling you what I like please, do your own research.

Warren Buffett paid $31,500 in 1958 for the house he lives in today He calls this decision "Buffett's Folly" If he had simply invested that money instead, and rented, he would be richer by over $10 billion today

@Investmentkage You don't need to use 20 websites to research stocks. All you need is one website called investor relations.

What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve seen someone do to save money. Mine was use 20 websites to do all my stock research for free 😂

Twitter's monetization plan is an amazing opportunity for creators But unfortunately, the best way to monetize under this plan is aggregating other people's content One tweet that gets 20 million impressions is worth about $200 under Twitter's plan A great creator can come up with maybe a couple original tweets each month that hit this level So at most, maybe $1,000 from your viral posts, and a few hundreds bucks for everything else you post during a month But there's a shortcut: Just copy/paste anything that went viral over the last several years on Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, etc Now you have several viral tweets everyday If you get 100 million impressions a day from this strategy, you're making roughly $1k each day. $30k a month. This account below simply posts screenshots of other tweets, sometimes with an emoji added as a caption. They did the work to build up the audience, sure, but by exclusively using the work of others Now I'm certainly not looking to get paid for my tweet below. I don't have Twitter Blue for that account, so I wouldn't have made money anyway. Also, I clearly didn't 'make' this entire tweet: I benefited from a screenshot of an article written by someone else. So the screenshotted tweet is definitely not my original work. I am pointing out the downside of a monetization program that solely relies on impressions, instead of some more advanced formula like YouTube's that factors in the quality of the audience.

@CigarButtz @Govro12 You are definitely right. If the ffr goes up quickly then Hinghams deposit costs will also go up quickly. I think earnings will bottom in Q3 or Q4. Just go look at the cd rates on their website, the highest rate is 5% rn which is up from 4.6%.

@Govro12 Why do you think q2 would be bottom of NIM if FFR is still going up? I think it might get worse, especially if there are more consecutive rate hikes. Open to being wrong about that though.
