@Grn2775 Highly unlikely we'll be confirmed as up anyway, with it being the early kick off. We'd at least have to wait for the other results

How many do we reckon will be at Stadium Mk if the Tranmere game is to go up? A repeat of Mansfield 2019 perhaps or is it not big enough? Also Tranmere fans, if it’s the game to stay up how many you bringing? #TranmereRoversFC #mkdonsfc

@Slade1Alan @MKDonsFC @StadiumFM yeah but if we lose everyone else might win, no need to take 3 loses and 1 draw into our game against top of the league

@Grn2775 @MKDonsFC @StadiumFM Not really we can still draw a game and win the rest and be mathmaticallly certain of promotion, a win would be nice a draw is likely to be reasonable given the way teams at the top are struggling for form

@TheScurvyKid @The_Forty_Four The risks of going low and the corner are that you put it wide, you don't put it wide enough so the keeper can get to it

@The_Forty_Four Many a footballer (Baggio, Waddle, etc.) have done the same thing. I have just never understood why every footballer doesn’t just aim for a low corner. If it goes high, it’s at least going to still be on target. Go for top corner and you’re risking this.

@DeanJamesAFC It's alrady been stated that after the outcome there will be a separate process for the punishment all we will learn initially is their innocence or guilt of each charge and the rationale

It’s being reported that Man City could be deducted 60pts. No official confirmation yet but it is expected before the end of the season. If it does happen now they’ll end up last in the league and face relegation. I personally hope it doesn’t happen until next season if that ends up being the outcome.

@utflucas @hazarddd33 I am pretty sure it was a player identified by the scouting teams and there was the opportunity to bring him in on loan to look at him as we don't really have the budget to extensively scout Dutch second team football and wouldn't expect the manager to go over there

@Scottie_Alex @LukePayneMusic Whilst you are correct in what you say there is such a thing as guilt by association, would you like it if Bonnie Blue hired the arena for an event or Jim Davidson etc all would reflect badly on the wider audience

@LukePayneMusic Not a dons fan at all but a private company has rented the arena for an event. Doesn’t mean the club endorses them and they probably had no involvement in this photo.

@RgjPete @LukePayneMusic Even if the Reform Party aren't racist it is impossible to deny that their policies on immigration are attractive to racists. Reform were the party of choice for racists British people until recently, now it seems there are several new parties that are vying for that position

@TouchlineX If this version of the offside law, championed by Arsène Wenger, works in the Canadian Premier League, it could shift the balance back toward attackers, reduce marginal VAR controversies, and fundamentally reshape defensive lines worldwide from 2027/28 onward.

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Arsene's Wenger new offside rule has been APPROVED and will be used in the Canadian Premier League! A player will ONLY be offside if he has FULLY passed the last defender, so it won't be decided based on a body part anymore. If succesful, the offside rule could change across the entire world from the 2027/28 season on.

@CountBiffa @robprogressive it's silly point to say they would refuse a pay rise, you just pay anything over £99,999 into your pension, so still get the childcare free.

Imagine turning down a pay rise because it would make you poorer… That’s exactly what happens when you start earning over £100k If you’ve got children in nursery then you’re better off earning £99,999 than £150,000 In the U.K. we literally penalise people for earning more. No wonder high earners are leaving

@ItsJamesPowers Is there a better system not so far as we are aware so we have to carry on with it. If there is evidence to support a further appeal that should be pursued but you can't have trial via social media where both sides of cases aren't presented and people rarely study the full facts

@ItsJamesPowers Lucy Letby was found guilty in a court of law by a jury of her peers, the Crown Prosecution Service presented evidence which her defence was able to dispute, following her verdict she had the right to appeal that is the foundation for our legal system, is it perfect? No but....

James Powers 🇬🇧@ItsJamesPowers·
After watching the Netflix documentary on Lucy Letby, I stand even more firmly by my original assessment that she is innocent and that her conviction represents one of the greatest miscarriages of justice this country has ever seen. The case against Lucy Letby is built almost entirely on circumstantial evidence and inference rather than hard proof. There is no direct evidence that she harmed a single child. Instead, once suspicion fell on Letby, the investigation became narrowly focused on her alone. Other potential explanations, systemic failures, and alternative suspects were not meaningfully explored. This tunnel vision created an environment where evidence was interpreted to fit a predetermined conclusion, and in some instances appears to have been effectively constructed to support it. The medical evidence, which formed the backbone of the prosecution’s case, is highly disputed. It relied heavily on the testimony of Dr Dewi Evans, whose conclusions have been challenged by some of the most respected neonatal and forensic experts in the world. Even more concerning is the fact that Dr Evans himself has changed his opinions multiple times over the course of the investigation and trials, raising serious questions about the reliability and objectivity of his assessments. When expert testimony is this unstable and contested, it should never be treated as definitive proof of guilt. The door-swipe evidence was also presented to the jury as factual and incriminating, yet it was misleading. Swipe data was used to imply Lucy Letby’s presence at certain times, despite the system being incapable of confirming whether someone actually entered a room, left it open, followed another staff member through a door, or was elsewhere entirely. Swipe cards show access, not actions, and the way this evidence was framed gave a false impression of certainty that simply did not exist. No matter your opinion on this case — whether you believe Lucy Letby to be innocent or guilty — the fact of the matter remains that there was no actual evidence proving she did anything wrong. What we are left with is a conviction driven by a now-discredited doctor and extremely shaky evidence, amplified by a police investigation that amounted to a witch hunt against Letby alone. That should terrify everyone. The idea that someone in the UK can be found guilty of the most serious crimes imaginable without concrete evidence, based on speculation, flawed expert opinion, and investigative tunnel vision, is a profound threat to justice itself.
