@dontsave Haha, I remember wanting to import video too and couldn't for the life of me do it due to XSS. Then I actually remembered your thing doing exactly that! It's one of the few things I decompiled.. imagine my face when I saw the "productionized" exploit 😱😂

a decade ago i had a net art project called YooouuuTuuube which exploited a security flaw i found in Adobe Flash. the exploit was one of the wildest things i've ever written, and now that Flash is dead i can do a #ThreadInMemoriam about it:

After a VERY busy few months it's awesome to see Marble It Up: Mayhem! in the wild. Multiplayer and 40+ new levels. The @AppleArcade team is world class and it has been a joy to work with them.

Watching people pour their hearts out across the world, that's actually a lot of what Twitter is. The nasty shit, that's fear, and that too resides in people's hearts. Maybe this is just the first steps to understanding each other? I hope so.

@Swizec You can drop the v-bind and just use :, JSX is supported, but I'd guess most people use templates where possible

I just can't get over how much I dislike Vue template syntax Is there JSX support for templates? I can only find it for "funcitonal components" which look even weirder

@danbri I liked Gridsome + Netlify. nodejs / Vue, Markdown, GraphQL, Webpack. A bit young, but it jived with my ideals immensely.

Static site generators: what’s the will of the people for something capable of replacing a Wordpress installation? Would prefer no SQL backend, and would rank python over javascript over ruby over java, but don’t care so long as it works

Dear front end nerds: Is VSCode worth moving to? Will it make me poo my pants in delight? Or shall I just stick with Sublime? Doing mostly PostCSS / Vanilla JS / Vue + Nuxt. Not using TypeScript for anything yet, but might do soon.

@_wilfredh Take a look at @haxelang for a more JS/C style language with many of the same features. Its compiler is written in OCaml, so it influenced the direction of the lang a lot. It also compiles to other languages!

I'm a lisper who has spend a little over six months getting up to speed in OCaml, and it's been really interesting. It's been unlike anything I've used before. Thread.
