Honestly a solid 7/10. Woke up and went to gym at 7 in morning after not having energy for gym last 3 weeks, finally restarting. Managed to have no junk food all day, took a nice long walk in evening, but managed to do none of the work things I planned to do and didn't do laundry

The thing with the Trans Bill Amendment is that it doesn't even cater to any immediate political lobby. India doesn't have an active lobby like the UK or US. This is just cruelty for its own sake, a sadistic strike by genocidal maniacs whose bloodlust only grows everyday

The NALSA judgement (2014) was a hard-won constitutional recognition of transgender rights. The #Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Bill, 2026 is not just an assault on Articles 14, 19 & 21, it is proof that this government will go out of its way to make transgender lives harder than they already are. What makes this especially abhorrent is the disregard of queer community's criticisms of the 2019 Act entirely. There were no consultations with the transgender community, and instead of course-correcting, the government has chosen to gut the very constitutional foundations that gave them the bare minimum that every citizen is supposed to have- dignity and legal personhood.
