My big gripe with online Marxism is that when they see a mass movement erupt out of legitimate anger at material conditions, their first instinct isn't to strategise how a movement like this can be leveraged to advance socialist objectives or weaken fascism.
It's condescension.

@billutari In AI Safety context they are called "low resource languages", the fact that models are trained, tested and audited in major languages means that their safety guardrails are weaker when confronted by languages which aren't English Mandarin French Russian etc. its a whole thing

I suggested that maybe socialists should do stuff like recruit dentists and MH professionals to offer free clinics in deprived areas and for socialists to go teach skills in the same areas instead of infinite constitutional debates.

Just drank water and had to pause, apparently this is a Hindu tradition dating back 5,000 years. In India (not south asia), every action is tied to a deity, which means I can't engage in any physical action without appropriating Hindu culture. Guidance needed urgently.
