@OpenSnow I like what you are trying to do but not sure you have it right - especially the font coloring. Example: Woodward showing mostly Orange and Blue 5-10 days out, but the text is Purple. Also the contrast of blue and purple isn’t the easiest to read. But that may just be me.

We recently added purple to our snowfall charts to signal the chance for mixed precipitation (snow/rain) in the forecast. opensnow.com/news/post/new-…

Snowing in LCC with several inches so far. A few more hours of this. Flow may be a touch too northerly for optimal enhancement, but still good through the afternoon.

@TahoeWeather My snowplow guy is loving life so far this winter.

So far this season we've seen well below average precipitation & snowfall. I wish I had better news, but still not seeing any big storms on the horizon, and the long-range model forecasts for the next 2 and 4 weeks suggest that the below-average precipitation pattern continues.

@TahoeWeather On the plus side - there are no sandstorms projected, no plague of frogs reported, oceanic tidal waves remain unlikely, and South Lake Tahoe remains in USDA hardness zones Zones 6b, 7a, and 7b. Plant em if you’ve got em boys….
