it’s already kinda humiliating to ask for butter in the middle & on top of the popcorn but the first time i went to amc & asked the worker laughed in my face & said “the butter is SELF-serve here” & in many ways it did feel like she was saying BEGONE VILE POPCORN WHORE.

One thing I really loved about this showing of Speed Racer is they shown a little video before hand and explaining very briefly the history of the film! I managed to record most of it. Only missing the intro and stopping when I thought it was over, missing him introducing the cast. I would love to have this in full for archives in the museum!

One of my friend's sons is just getting into both horror and boomer shooters, but he's still young enough that he isn't allowed to play M rated games. He was complaining to me the other day that there are no T-rated boomer shooters and I realized wow he's right.

@dilophosaurid the theatre i saw the rerelease at had a bit beforehand going over the making of and yadda yadda for the movie
it mentioned how it did bad on release, and had came out close to Iron Man (2008), and it genuinely feels like we took the wrong path with this
