It’s a UNC fan posting how a sport that UNC is playing in a natty for is seeing record viewership. I think you can draw the connections there and understand why your initial reply is clearly a jab disguised as unbiased analysis

Baseball of almost every major sport is lowest in increases. 3. This is about holistic sports. Nobody brought up individual teams until the numbers offended folks.

You’re comparing it to the growth numbers of OTHER sports to try to trivialize the reach and popularity of college baseball. It’s still at worst the 4th most watched college sport.

Every platform has seen exponential growth in viewership. That’s 100% fact. College baseball has seen one of the lowest of those platforms, also 100% fact. This was never about ONE team.

He chose this narrative due to deeply rooted anti-UNC bias. You’re 100% right, if State was here, he wouldn’t highlight this narrative at all.

This is a horrid take. College baseball is one of the “big three” sports. Its popularity is growing by leaps and bounds. Winning a title in football, basketball, or baseball should warrant storming Franklin. Unfortunately, with the CWS being in June, it would never happen.

This answer might be controversial…but that answer should be no. Franklin Street celebrations are reserved for basketball and basketball only. I’m all for celebrating championships, but we don’t storm for field hockey, lacrosse, or other championships. Let’s not start now.

Sport growth analysis should be viewed in a vacuum for the most part and not compared to other sports that deal with distinctly different variables

ESPN has pushed women’s sports HARD recently, and those are the sports you’re seeing w the most growth. So again, apples to oranges. CBBs growth is promising

Yes, they all grew, but again baseball was one of the lowest growth wise (again change of method of record keeping).
