@ChucktownHoops @T3Bracketology Yes, probably 4-5 of Hawaii and Yale, and close to 10 of UNCW given it’s an N.C. school, my wife went there, and Siddle is one of my favorite mid major coaches.

Have you watched a single game of Yale or UNCW? Or Hawaii before today? Obviously the metrics are gonna bunch up mid majors with good records because it’s totally skewed towards rewarding high major scheduling. If Hawaii missed the tournament I promise you that Clayman or Steele aren’t getting on the podium advocating that Hawaii should have been in the tournament.

@AtlantaGator13 @T3Bracketology I 100% agree and folks are missing the point. Mid-majors deserve more a place, but they 100% have not helped themselves today. Rather simple. Also, every loves the lower seed mid-major or not. That’s a fact.

@T3Bracketology @mcblimp95 The thing I don’t understand is how people don’t see what drives March Madness interest. People don’t tune in when 12 seed Auburn has a chance to beat 5 seed Wisconsin. They don’t rally behind 8 seed Iowa making a deep run like they do when it’s 8 seed Butler.

@mcblimp95 I mean, nobody is saying every mid-major is great. Of course some of the auto-bid teams are not very good. The point is that there are plenty of very good mid-majors that never get a chance to showcase how good they are… because if you’re a mid-major, a few losses keeps you out.
