As a member of the LGBT community & niece of an LGBT Purge victim, I know first hand the struggle for equality & dignity faced by LGBT people in Canada. It's not "cancel culture" to ask for an apology from a public figure who used degrading language & misappropriated of the NDTR
Bruce Banman@BruceBanman

This sort of hypersensitive, woke, far-left cancel culture; waiting to pounce and demand apologies over the slightest oversight of speech or tone is why I and others are leaving the BCU in droves. Elenore, your party is done -- and everybody knows it. #bcpoli

@SimranRoohi I went to the dark side. Huge adjustment but also better $. Enough that I took a sabbatical year and moved back to France. I’m slowly moving into gov’t Comms.

@AirCanada any chance of getting my "delayed" luggage (lost 4 days ago) delivered in time for my uncle's funeral tomorrow? It was supposed to be delivered by 1pm France time today.

@redbirdcarpent1 "They" has been consistently used as a singular pronoun since the 1300s. •Anyone who wants to succeed should ensure *they* work very hard. •Someone lost *their* keys! Considering the number of spelling/syntax errors in your post, you might want to brush up on your "grammer."

@Garossino The one thing I do not get or understand is how can you legitimately have plural pronouns when you are single, my years ago grammer just doesn't allow that, I do not care who or what persons calls themselves . 1+1=they or them 1 has to be something else

@_jackiewong @_AndreaWarner Ah, Memories washing over me as I sit at my second-hand dining table-cum-desk above a middling sushi joint in the West End with a 15-yo, blind and deaf Mr. B snoring (and farting) loudly at my feet.

It was March 2009, and we were working in a second-hand newspaper office above a car dealership in Kits. @_AndreaWarner, @StevenINK and were stationed along this row of desks by the window. We decided to join Twitter one afternoon. Steven's Mr. B was just a pup!
