Said goodbye to my Dad today. Its such a shock even though he was 90. He was very healthy. Walked 2 miles 4 times a week. Woke up happy and positive every day. Had plans for another trip to Europe. Knew everyday was a gift. Kind and honest. Laughed everyday. 💔💔💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹💔❤️‍🩹💔❤️‍🩹

@BrndnStrssng I didn't see specific Indian film influences. But there are a ton of Indian potboilers with Ramayana and Mahabharata references (though they don't have to explain the references and mythology bc the audience already understands them)

Keep seeing other critics cite his Bollywood influences but where were they? Feels a little, uh, well I won’t say it lol. If anything, this has the viscous motor of a Lokesh film without any of the visual confidence. If there’s any Bollywood, it’s that Dev has 100% seen Satya lol

Man, I did not like Monkey Man, much at all. Patel is a star but if this is thematically incoherent, visually it’s 20x worse. He’s so clearly trying to blend the last 20+ years of East Asian action but he’s not particularly good at any of it. Great choreo, wish I could see it!
