Dave Meltzer on Chris Jericho’s AEW return: “WWE wanted Jericho for a retirement tour. With AEW, perhaps he was going to get more longevity. There are a lot of advantages for AEW, including money. He may have been offered more money in AEW. I would think he made a lot of money in AEW. At this point, especially at his age, he’s going to want to do what’s creatively fulfilling and fun. @TimesSqKungFu Not saying the Shout! Looks bad (it doesn't) but I've always remembered Hard Boiled having the blue tint / colour grading, it gives the movie a dark, gritty atmosphere that fits the movie perfectly. The Arrow version is my preference.

Hard Boiled [1992] Directed By: John Woo Comparison between the Shout 4K disc and ARROW 4K disc. ARROW nailed it. I told ya to wait. There are other details too like the Shout disc having noise and other stuff that has been broken down on the Blu-Ray forums. ARROW has better subs, color, artwork by @studiotstella amazing booklet with writing by @BBW_BFF and a bunch of other stuff as well.

@B1gDaddyMarv Hope it's good but the leaked script was not great. Really hope the execution is better or they have changed some things from it for the final cut of the movie.

Resident Evil movie and Weapons director Zach Cregger was interviewed by The New York Times about his reboot. ▪️He's already beaten RE 9 twice. ▪️He is the biggest worshipper of the games, and his movie is not breaking the rules of the games. ▪️This film has a much bigger budget than Weapons, and Cregger was given carte blanche to reinvent RE with this film. ▪️Does not adapt to any specific story from the games, and contains no characters from any of the games.

@TheAndyCortez @PaulTassi Majority of it's target audience won't care and it will make tons of cash. Just like the first one, I'm fine with it not having a super deep story or anything, I'm just gonna chill for a few hours and enjoy the fun and Easter eggs.

@PaulTassi It's not great. Awesome for references and WAY better music wise, but it just felt like a bunch of scenes awkwardly stitched together. "But Andy it's a kids movie" yea but so are the Lego and pixar movies and they've got great writing and humor.

@xMBGx Decided not to buy a PS5 Pro, sticking with PS5 and will save the cash for PS6 instead. Already have a Switch 2 and PC, although that needs an upgrade but that can wait for when / if PC part prices get more reasonable again.

@xMBGx Games industry is a mess right now thanks to rising costs and next gen is probably going to struggle with Xbox and PlayStation both being expensive, expect lots of cross gen games. Nintendo could benefit the most from it, with Switch 2 being the cheapest alternative for many.

So if Sony is pulling away from PC/mobile and going back to exclusive to exclusive games, this signals they are going back to the more traditional console model. But how is that supposed to work if the PS6 is $800-1000? That model relies on mass market appeal.

Zach Cregger’s RESIDENT EVIL [2026] has wrapped and he just recently mentioned being in the editing stages. IMDb has updated it with a poster and they’re showing an expected release of September 18th.
