2/2 Bhai Amritpal Singh/WPD different to so many Sikh orgs/leaders, first voice after decades to champion returning and working in Panjab. Filled the void of the failed @Akali_Dal_ to establish a strong Sikh hold in the state. That positive work should continue

1/2There is an obvious trust deficit in our community. Tell the community where Amritpal Singh is and stop detention of anyone mildly in connection/support of him. Human nature is to react, remember insurgency was a reaction. Policy determines outcomes.. @GovernmentIndia

4/4 But that didn't deter our life choices (asylum, nationality etc). Bhai Amritpal Singh championed 'reverse migration' and these actions will lead to to opposite of that. English Idiom: 'Don't throw stones in glass houses'.

3/4. 1984 redefined our relationship with 'tiranga'. But, there is bad blood in many places. In Britain our Nishaans (see pic- Itchfield Cathedral) and many other emblems of our sovereignty are exhibited. What could be more humiliating?

I will always identify with the Nishaan Sahib. The Nishaan Sahib is a manifestation of our Guru. I can never equate it with the Tiranga. But, fact of matter is for millions, nationalism is a religion.
