More than 20 #UNMISS @UNPOL women officers reinforced the mission's commitment to protection of civilians through an assessment of the risks facing families living in a displacement camp in Mangateen 🇸🇸. During a patrol to the area, they focused on the safety of women and girls, gender-based violence prevention, human rights, access to education, and community resilience. #A4P #InvestInPeace

Explosive remnants of war continue to pose risks across south Lebanon. Working closely with @UNMAS, UNIFIL peacekeepers help reduce these risks through Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and demining efforts, supporting the implementation of resolution 1701.
