Due to some awful writing decisions made by Capcom in regard to Alex’s story… I’ve taken it upon myself to provide a small fix that will undoubtedly erase any and all damage done by Street Fighter 6.
This will be the lore I use in my Street Fighter “OCverse” going forward.

@Le_Brutus Hopefully it can be like magic the gathering, where its strong selling point is to meet people. Though one thing locals can enable is that I can be the best player of my city and that must feel hella good

Good netcode in modern games means you can get matches with players around your skill level effortlessly. The only real selling point for locals is the social interaction, which isn't enough of a sell for a lot of people.

In a city with 8 million people, excellent public transportation and a dedicated venue, FGC locals are pretty much dead, only thing left is a SF6 weekly with attendance that doesn't reflect the online playerbase and Smash weeklies keeping the venue alive. What went wrong?
