People rarely want to share what makes them so successful, except when they feel they are in safe spaces. And that is why I ideated "The Ibadan Linkup & Lock-in — A Progressive Circle" Let me explain. I've been in rooms where people talk a lot but say nothing. Rooms where everybody is performing instead of actually sharing. And I've also been in rooms that were small, private and intentional where one conversation changed the entire trajectory of my business. The difference? The second room felt SAFE. Nobody was competing. Nobody was hoarding. Everybody understood that the more we pour into each other, the more we all win. That's exactly what I'm building with this. A small circle of people who are actually doing the work. Not talkers. Not motivational speakers. People who are in the trenches of their businesses every single day running ads, closing sales, building brands, shipping products, managing teams and are willing to sit in a room and say "this is what is working for me right now, take it and run with it." We share what's working. We collaborate when we see opportunities. We hold each other accountable. And we grow together not in theory, but in real life with real results. I'm building this in Ibadan. The first edition holds this month third weekend of the month. And here's how the experience flows: Day 1 Arrival & IntroductionsYou come in. You settle down. You meet the other people in the room. Everybody gets to know who is who and what everybody is doing in their businesses. Some of the best business relationships I've ever built didn't start from a formal setting, they started from just sitting down, eating, and talking with the right person. Day 2 The Deep DiveThis is the core of the whole thing. Morning to evening, we go IN. Real business breakdowns. People sharing what they are doing right that others can learn from. Marketing strategies. Sales systems. Operations. Revenue models. What's working NOW. Not theory from 2019. We talk about possible collaborations, partnerships, joint ventures and things that can actually move the needle for everyone in the room before the next edition even comes around. But here's my philosophy, learning is done BEST when it is relaxing, not intensive. When your mind is at ease, you absorb more. You think clearer. You connect dots faster. So the whole day is bonded with games, good food, and the kind of atmosphere where it doesn't feel like you're in a seminar. It feels like a weekend with people that are on the same frequency as you. That's the difference. You won't leave here with 47 pages of notes you'll never look at. You'll leave with actual relationships, actual ideas, and things you can go back and implement in your business the following Monday. Day 3 Departure Early departure. You leave sharper and more connected than you came. Participation fee is ₦100,000. This is not a conference. This is not a seminar. This is not another event where one person talks from stage and everybody else sits down and claps. This is a room where everybody is both the teacher and the student. What you share helps someone else. What someone else shares helps you. A progressive circle because the whole point is that every time we meet, everybody in the room should have moved from where they were the last time. The first edition is this month. Space is intentionally limited because the smaller the room, the deeper the conversations go. The total spots made available is 15 spots and as i type this 4 spots has already been booked and paid for... That makes 11 spot available.. I wanted to build a progressive circle in Ibadan few weeks back It got blown up in my face And knowing that I've been of help to alot of my guys and they've also been of help to me. I struggle to understand why people always want to gatekeep.. Not like I'm taking food out of your mouth if you share. It is what it is...
