🚨📝 NEW COLUMN Why the Tories have a chance of a comeback after the local elections Badenoch is more popular than other party leaders And crucially, Reform voters seem more open to backing her than Conservative supporters are to voting for Farage

The problem, Victoria, is that all London taxis are fully wheelchair-accessible - yet they’re forced to compete on the same terms as standard saloon cars. If we’re serious about accessibility, there should be proper incentives to retain this service: zero-rated VAT on vehicles, guaranteed road access, and policies that actually support - not undermine - wheelchair-accessible transport.

Waymo automated taxis are now running in London. There is still a human being in the driver seat for now incase something goes wrong but they are controlled and driven purely by AI. Would you be comfortable getting in a driverless vehicle?

London, to judge by a network of anonymous social media accounts and blowhard Maga podcasters, is now a dystopian hellhole where there are no-go areas for non-Islamists, the murder rate per capita is higher than Lagos, you need to be Snake Plissken to use the Tube between Mornington Crescent and Chalk Farm, and the police will arrest you for saying “God Save The King”. Research published by City Hall presents evidence that this isn’t just a random meme: it’s a co-ordinated propaganda effort. With the help of analytical tools used by the National Cyber Security Centre, researchers have established that posts about London have risen by seven per cent in two years, and “London in decline” narratives have gone up by 150-200 per cent. These are coming, the researchers discover, not from the concerned citizens of Clapham but from from Sri Lankan-based troll-farms, Vietnamese Facebook networks, and Nigerian bot webs mimicking UK media. ✍️ Sam Leith Article | spectator.com/article/london…

@Lovely_Footy @barrygrestock @leytonorientfc @OrientOutlook If a manager has been banned from a stadium, they cannot enter the ground on the day their team is playing there. The coach is allowed to watch the game on television, but they cannot gain any direct view of the pitch, such as watching the fixture in a tower block overlooking.

Aside from your weird obsession with the Conservative Party (reminder it’s Labour that’s in govt), let’s look at the actual facts: According to the @spectator Poll of Polls, you held a 13.6% lead over the Conservatives in Sept 25, today it’s 7.9%. According to the very poll you refer to, your lead is 7% (from 10%) and you’re predicted to get 57 fewer seats - compared to the same poll in January. And Kemi is now officially the most popular political leader in the country, inc Nigel Farage. And, of course, we probably have 3 years before any national poll actually matters. We have much work to do to rebuild trust, but we are 💯 up for the fight. All the actual facts here moreincommon.org.uk/latest-insight…
