@LTDAForum Yes, I'm sure that's what you people want people to think, but anyone who's ever lived in south London and tried to get a cab home knows it is absolutely TRUE! It's almost as if it didn't actually come out of nowhere.......🤔

TfL issued 456 Private Hire Licenses just this week . They then lecture us about pollution and congestion etc . Hypocrisy of the highest order ! Money first everything else is just PR and sound bites .

@phv2022 If every licensed vehicle and driver was always on the road that would make sense but more drivers means more hours driven on the roads , meaning more traffic , a continual upward curve of driver numbers means more congestion and pollution .

Stoney Street public realm improvement works for Borough Market: We would like to inform you that we are approaching a stage of the construction works where the security barriers will be delivered and installed on site. The equipment will be delivered by a large lorry which will need a safety exclusion zone around it while the delivery and lifting operation takes place. The delivery at the Park Street end is scheduled for Monday 23 March 2026. During this time, no through traffic will be permitted at the Stoney Street / Park Street junction for approximately three hours, between 11:30am and 2:30pm. To help minimise disruption, arrangements have been made with Multiplex at the Minerva House development for the Montague Close road closure to be temporarily opened during this three hour period. This will allow vehicles travelling from Bedale Street to exit via Montague Close and Tooley Street. A traffic marshal will be positioned at the Bedale Street / Winchester Walk junction to assist and direct vehicles as required. Emergency Services have been notified of these temporary arrangements.
