Really excited to see this in print - what to do when someone has a first demyelinating event but MRI doesn’t meet MS diagnostic criteria. I argue for actively watching and waiting… but that this needs to be done in partnership with the patient. nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…

13 years from Breast Cancer, I've been diagnosed with an incurable Lung Cancer+will start life lengthening treatments in next few weeks.I aim to carry on my Patient Partnership work as much/long as I can. One day at a time; recognising reality but always with a sprinkling of hope

Today was my last day @sashnhs. A very sad goodbye but looking forward to new adventures (not sure where yet!)

Was just escorted into a side room on the ward to find an army of junior doctors with cards &presents.
It’s been tough since I got ‘the diagnosis’ but this gesture has floored me. God knows how many of them chipped in to buy £500 vouchers.

I know a good idea when I steal one. At the end of every chapter of the "How To Read A Head CT" comic, there's a brief drawing lesson to reinforce key concepts. The brilliant EM doc @PhysicianDoodle came up w/ this memorable way of learning clinical ACA/MCA/PCA stroke findings.
