I had the opportunity to visit with @TexasSHRC Luna Scholars before recognizing them yesterday on the Senate Floor. The program gives young leaders the opportunity to work full time in a Senate office during session.
TX Senate recognized our Luna Scholars for their commitment to public service & their hard work in #txlege. I'm proud to have Jose Silva helping serve the constituents of #SD6 this session. Let’s congratulate & thank Jose for his work & wish him well on his future endeavors!
