We 100% as an industry need to do better. I can't begin to imagine how hostile it must feel to be party to this kind of treatment. Why aren't there more women in tech? Probably because of bozos like this.

This happened to me when I was at Cisco. Was a local bank. Dude was sharing his screen, closed the window we were working in, forgot he was still sharing, and pulled up Slack to make a comment to a peer that I sure talk fast. โBet thatโs not all she does fastโ was the response.

@nadahalli No the intention has always been that blocks would routinely be full and that whatever gets in is what pays the highest transaction fees. Blocks routinely being not full is a sign of dubious demand.

It's ridiculous that I'm the one explaining this but the Bitcoin segwit discount was an intentional effective block size increase. Using those bytes to only get charged 1/4 isn't a violation of the rules. It isn't even a violation of the spirit of the rules.

Just like all development and code, AI is not some magic fix to having liability over the actions we are responsible for. Or at least it shouldn't be.

Alright wtf.. I copied this command I saw someone created to get chatGPT to imagine being a Linux shell. Then I have it connect to Google on port 80 and do a Get. Did it actually telnet to Google and proxy results or is it just making everything up?!?!
