@georgewrighster Great take but I would also say after what I have seen in bowl season with the SEC taking multiple losses at ACC schools that they ACC was actually the second best conference this year.

Y’all are going to fall for the SEC okey doke again!!!! Way too early rankings and Preseason rankings will have 7-8+ SEC teams in the top 15 again. And then try to convince us of the SEC “gauntlet”.

@BudElliott3 I don’t understand why the remedy of specific performance isn’t totally reasonable. Monetary damages won’t make you whole. Players provide unique services that are not fungible in the market. I think starting to enforce contracts might bring some level of sanity to the chaos.

This is where the schools can't have their cake and eat it too. If it's not pay-for-play, and they aren't employees (things the schools fight every step of the way), pretty hard to force them to play for you. A select few schools have figured out ways to keep guys though...

@jordanw330 For the longest time I gave Ballard a pass because of how Andrew Luck left and the challenge of finding a starting QB without a high first round draft pick. But with Teams like Seattle and San Francisco finding high quality starters in unproved ways it’s clearly time to move on.
