Ok - we all want solutions to preserve our great game. Today I'm going to suggest solution one: For basketball - have the Power 5 & Big East conference commissioners get together and create a salary cap between 1.5 n 2.0 million. All contracts delivered to the league and school offices. All other conferences establish their own salary cap. I would never exclude anyone from the NCAA tournament. Obviously football is a different sport entirely and some of their talent makes more than NFL players. More solutions to follow in the coming days

Amazing fact. My US passport was about to expire, sent it in expedited, normally 4-6 weeks , came back in 11 days. I guess they’re not doing much passport business at our southern border.

Last month Maryland’s season felt like it hung in the balance on a late possession in a half empty arena vs #24 Ohio St. Fast forward to this weekend. OSU has lost 14 out of 15 while MD is playing for a shot at 2nd place and possible 13th straight Big Ten home win. Unbelievable.

Be interesting to see who Georgetown gets when they let Ewing go after this year. Specifically, I know of one out-of-work coach who I've heard would like to coach again but doesn't want to leave the DMV. And other than Maryland, Georgetown is probably the best job in the DMV.
