Not only would it be unusual...it would be a lie. I flew 50 missions from USS Ranger (a fossil fuel carrier) in Desert Storm. We ate 4 meals a day...always...not just during war. Ask any sailor what "midrats" is. I've seen the pictures/proof that have been posted...they're pulled form other sources. Our men and women are eating just fine at sea.
