Amor te deixa conseguir ver coisas sobre uma pessoa que ninguém mais vê. É realmente algo especial. E, tenho alguém especial. Obrigado pelo teu amor.

@FarmingWithYHWH @thefuzzstone But, to answer your question, we shouldn't appeal to it, and its why I'm against this change. If this change was made not because of a law, but because of a new completely optional feature, Id be fine with it. But the fact it solely exists to appeal to the state makes it horrible

The mf who submits pull requests to add verification to 'systemd', Arch Linux, etc. To be honest, I thought the state's attack would target CPUs that couldn't run Linux... But it turned out to be much simpler than that.

Arch Linux Says Opposing Age Verification is Code of Conduct Violation "They don't like someone they consider as part of the [Arch Linux] core dev teams being called out like that. What you did broke the Arch Linux CoC."

@FarmingWithYHWH @thefuzzstone I think you misunderstood what I was trying to express. The amount of people calling it "age verification" is insane, and makes it harder to understand what the change actually does. I wasn't really creating a stance on the situation, was just trying to correct the used term

@FarmingWithYHWH @thefuzzstone Just because it is the next step, doesn't mean what's implemented currently is age verification. Again, I don't like that this was added into systemd. However calling _whats been added currently_ age verification is incorrect. It is simply a way of storing and retrieving a date.

@TheTimBrick @thefuzzstone You can _RIGHT NOW_ this is the foundation of the next step. Age Verification is USELESS with biometric scan ins connected to your digital state ID. That is what's coming next.

@thefuzzstone Note that I said: "I don't agree with the changes given that they are directly in response to these laws." The implication of conforming to theses laws is bad. And also note, that my main argument, wasn't "This is good." it was "This is still bad, but it's not verification."

@wholyv C++ for me as well. It's the first language (and one of the only ones I've used, aside from C, Python, a bit of rust and go) and I know the best. It's easy to make stuff with a language with widespread usage and that you know the best.

C++ is probably the only language that has revolutionised the entire civilisation. I consider it even more revolutionary than python for very good reasons. If i could choose only one language for the rest of my life, it would be cpp.

The Arch Linux Core Dev Team is asking r/ArchLinux sub-reddit mods to censor people unhappy with Age Verification in Arch. It appears that Arch Linux considers criticism of Age Verification to be a "Code of Conduct" violation. From an r/ArchLinux moderator responding to a censored user: "I got a DM from much higher up the chain asking me to remove it. Whilst I technically don't answer to them, I do respect their wishes. They don't like someone they consider as part of the core dev teams being called out like that. What you did broke the Arch Linux CoC."

@pawdiefur_fury @josephfounder @LundukeJournal @nvk Ahh sorry, what I meant was, if an application requires the date to be a specific value, you can just, input a valid value, nothing will check that it's right. Though you are right, it's not required, can be left null.

@pawdiefur_fury @josephfounder @LundukeJournal @nvk Yeah I know, I used age verification in the wrong way here. I was trying to point out that despite what people are saying about Omarchy not having the systemd change, it will because it's just arch (which uses systemd). For clarification to anyone who sees, it's not verification.

@TheTimBrick @dessertcowboy @josephfounder @LundukeJournal @nvk @dhh and as i said before, this is NOT mass surveillence, the government uses other methods for that. this to stop kids from doing illegal activities. i AM PUSHING FOR IT AFTER SEEING SOME OF THE SICK SHIT KIDS ARE DOING ON TELEGRAM AND DISCORD and using vpns to hide it.

@Emmett31539642 @dessertcowboy @josephfounder @LundukeJournal @nvk @dhh Furthermore, as I have already said in a previous reply, we both were talking about two different things. Of course, the owner of the repository dictates what is modified *on his repo*. That jurisdiction ends as soon as the owner of the repository changes, e.g. if it's forked.

@TheTimBrick @dessertcowboy @josephfounder @LundukeJournal @nvk @dhh they why was it locked so that no other dev can remove it? the lock has nothing to do with comments at all. it locks the age field up so that it cannot be removed. the comment lock came after the change was locked you dumbass piece of shit

@Emmett31539642 @dessertcowboy @josephfounder @LundukeJournal @nvk @dhh What I sent and what you said have no correlation at all. What I messaged was the open source license, permitting anyone to copy and modify it as they please. This is why things like liberated systemd are allowed to exist, because it is permitted under the license of the original
