Courage (19 Y/O daughters) My buddy in America has a daughter the same age as mine. She thinks she’s courageous because, as a Columbia U. Freshman, she’s out screaming for Intifada while wearing a keffiyah. My daughter is in the IDF and is faced with jihadist terrorists that want to slaughter her family because we are Jewish. We are not the same. I admire my daughter’s bravery. I laugh at my friend’s daughter and can’t wait until she stops supporting terrorists and goes back to supporting transgender rights. Or whatever “brave” cause is popular on TikTok.

Non vedrete manifestazioni di piazza o copertine dei settimanali. Non vedrete politici fare video, interventi in Parlamento, interviste appassionate. Non vedrete artisti sui tappeti rossi dei festival fare appelli con braccialetti o drappi. Non vedrete campagne stampa e tv. Bita Hemmati è una giovane donna che in Iran stava protestando per chiedere libertà e democrazia. Per questo è stata arrestata, imprigionata e torturata. E pochi giorni fa la Sezione 26 del Tribunale Rivoluzionario di Teheran l’ha condannata a morte. Ma nel dibattito pubblico questo sembra non interessare per niente. Non alimenta la narrazione giusta, non fa “audience”, non punta il dito contro i “cattivi”. Noi del @Partito_Libdem non abbiamo invece dubbi: fino a quando il cancro del regime terrorista iraniano rimarrà in piedi, non ci sarà vera pace possibile in Medio Oriente.
