Don't fall for the glamorous illusion often presented on social media. Real progress towards health goals comes from consistent routines and seemingly 'mundane' habits. Keep doing those squats and drinking your water, friends. The everyday grind leads to extraordinary results!
Counting calories is not as important as the quality of your calories. 200 calories of eggs is a lot different than 200 calories of donuts. Not the macro breakdown but the physiological aspect after you eat each one. How it makes you feel on a physical, and a mental level.
Doing 45 minutes of heavy resistance training, following a meal plan, and changing multiple bad habits at once is a lot for some people. I get it.
But you can do something. Start walking outside 45 minutes a day, and drinking a gallon of water every day. You can do that.
Majority of your “healthy” smoothie shops are serving beverages, loaded with preservatives and hidden sugar . Watch out specifically for flavored teas. If they can’t show you every ingredient that’s going into the smoothie or shake. Walk away, and go buy a banana and a water.
If you’re new to Fitness, and looking for a New Year’s plan to get you started. You don’t need a fancy nutrition or training plan. Do some form of resistance training three times a week, drink a gallon of water every day, and take a walk for 45 minutes five days a week.
I’ve been working out my whole life so that makes me a personal trainer. Interesting, because I’ve been cooking my whole life so I guess that makes me a Chef. See how that sounds. If your coach doesn’t have credentials, then you don’t have a coach you have a scam artist.
